Gunmen open fire inside parliament building in Ottawa, Canada
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper had to be evacuated from the government building, which is currently on lock down. Schools and the US embassy are also on lock down in Ottawa. Following the resignation of seven ministers last week, President Jonathan
has reshuffled his cabinet, appointing temporary ministers to take up
the positions of those that resigned.
Announcing this today October 22nd after the Federal Executive Council, the Minister of State II for Foreign Affairs, Nurudeen Mohammed who now supervises the Ministry of Information, said the Minister of Defence, Lt. Gen. Aliyu Gusau will now double as the Minister of State for Defence while the Minister of Special Duties, Taminu Turaki (SAN) will act as the Supervising Minister of Labour and Productivity. women into prostitution by making them eat snakes in a black
magic ceremony, UK Daily Mail reports.
Lizzy and Jackson, according to reports, made more than
£70,000 out of the women, who were made see

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that some
of the
missing Chibok girls may never return and we'll continue to read about
them in years to come. He said this on the 5th of Oct while speaking at the Hausa service of the British Broadcasting Corporation
"I believe that some of them will never return. We will still be hearing about them many years from now, some will give birth to children of the Boko Haram members, but if they cannot take care of them in the forest, they may release them.” he said.

Ibrahim Babangida reportedly hospitalized in Germany
According to Sahara Reporters, former Head of state, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida popularly known as IBB is currently in a hospital in German. He was reportedly rushed to Germany about 10 days ago from his hilltop mansion in Minna, Niger State. SR reports that the former military dictator who is 73 years old is severely ill and that his ailment relates to a chronic back ailment for which he earlier had surgery in Germany.
