“If the right song comes, I may go back to singing”- Genevieve Nnaji says

Genevieve Nnaji in a new interview said that if she finds the right song, she will sing again.



Speaking with Channels TV at the relaunch of her clothing line in Lagos on Sunday, Genevieve said;

“I think everything comes at its own time. Fashion is here at its own time. I don’t believe I must do everything but if the right song comes and the right situation arises for me to lend my voice, I would definitely. So no, singing is not ruled out(don’t worry)” she said

The actress also says that revamping her clothing line will not in anyway affect her acting career

“Nothing affects my acting. Acting is something I do with my soul so it embodies a lot of things. For me, I don’t know about anyone else, acting is spiritual, so if I do not embody a character or a story or a script, it’s going to be extremely difficult for me to be convincing and I don’t like that because I am somewhat of a perfectionist” she said

Nigerians are not the only one in love with her, Ghanaian’s Range Rover E-Vogue Ambassador, Joselyn Canfor Dumas in a new interview has spoken about why she adores her Nigerian counterpart, Genevieve Nnaji who is also a Range Rover E-Vogue ambassador.

Dumas said when she was contacted to be the brand’s face, she was so excited because she knows Genevieve represents them in Nigeria, while Victoria Beckham represents them globally, and to her that’s a phenomenon.

Popular Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji, has finally stepped out with her parents Mr and Mrs Theophilus Nnaji.

The Nnaji family were seen over the weekend during the wedding ceremony of Onyinye, the daughter of Innoson Group Chairman Chief Innocent Chukwuma, and her husband Emeka Onwugbenu, the son of Louis Carter Group Chairman.

The church service which was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Victoria Island, Lagos, had the gathering of who’s-who in Nigeria with Igbo billionaires in attendance.

Sharon Oyakhilome, the 21-year-old daughter of Chris & Anita Oyakhilome – seems to have taken her parents rumoured divorce with rare grace. Just three weeks ago, she threw a fun bikini party to celebrate her 21st birthday in London.

Hallelujah! Then He said, “When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.” What’s He saying? You know Jesus said prophetically concerning Himself,

“…In the volume of the Book it is written of me, I come to do thy will O God” (Hebrews 10:7). This means when Jesus came, He stepped into the prophecy and began to live His life in it. He didn’t do anything the Word didn’t already declare about Him. He came to fulfil that which was already spoken.

“In the same way, anybody that declares himself your enemy or anything that poses itself as your enemy will surely fulfil the Scripture of stumbling and falling. That means, you don’t ever have to bother about your adversaries; their end is assured. Don’t allow yourself be distracted.

“Focus on what you’ve been called to do. God’s Word has been declared concerning them; the Bible says they stumbled and fell! So if they started out to be your enemy, they will have to end up stumbling and falling. You don’t have to pray about your enemies; like Jesus, all you should say is “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”

“Why I didn’t become a Glo Ambassador” – Genevieve Nnaji reveals

It came as a surprise to many that Genevieve wasn’t picked up as a Glo ambassador instead she was signed on by Etisalat.

They were reports that the deal didn’t pull through because she referred them to her manager and even when Mike Adenuga personally called her, she said the same. She told PMnews…

“First of all, that is not true as I never spoke to Dr. Mike Adenuga. In fact, it will be a honour to speak with him. However, let us face the subject of speaking with my manager. I think it is professional that managers should be contacted when issues about business are about to be discussed. I am not saying that was the issue with that particular brand. But let’s assume it was; is there any problem speaking with someone’s management? Please tell me.Truly I was approached. We had negotiations but things didn’t work out and everyone moved on. It is simple.

Mikel Obi and Genevieve Nnaji began their working relationship when they were both signed by Amstel Malta as ambassadors.

Mikel spoke about the screen diva during an event organized for the Nigerian Breweries brand in Lagos.
He said:

“We work together, it’s a working relationship”. “We endorsed Amstel Malta together, she’s a very nice person; I spoke to her a few times and she’s a very lovely person.”
