Awww.. Read Tiwa Savage’s Sweet Birthday Message To Her Mum

Yesterday, August 19th appears to be a popular celebrity birthday date. First there’s Moments with Mo co-hosts, Dolapo Oni and Bolanle Olukanni celebrating a new age, also Lamide Akintobi from “The Spot” on Ebony Life TV turns a year older, then there’s comedian AY, Runtown of the “Gallardo” fame and finally there’s Momma Savage, mother of MAVIN First Lady, Tiwa Savage. <br>

In honour of this special day, Tiwa Savage left a super touching and sweet birthday message for her mother, Mrs Cecelia Savage on her Instagram page. <br>

Tiwa who credited her mother for being her hero recounted her unpleasant high school days and the role her mother played in making that period more bearable. <br>

“During my high school days I was bullied for several years, I would get jumped on the bus, head flushed down the toilet and so on, it got so bad that I did something drastic and life threatening because I was so depressed. <br>

My mother was called to school on several occasions and each time she came she would ask to see the other students bullying me and would always pray for us all. Of course they would joke and laugh but my mother was always so calm and reserved and she would take me home, cook me Naija food (we were living in London at the time) and she would make me realize how loved I was and how rich my culture is, how beautiful I am being a Nigerian girl (I was bullied for being African, skinny, dark and I had a strong naija accent) what my mother didn’t do was fight, shout or argue with the other girls or their parents (who were at times very rude and disrespectful), instead she showered me with love and reminded me where I was from. <br>

One of the many reasons why she is my hero, my role model, biggest inspiration, my best friend, my mummy @celiasavage I celebrate you today on your birthday. Anyone that has met you has experience what a calm, shy, gentle but very hip mummy you are. <br>

The only doromegasupermummy on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook , keek etc lol I love you mummy, I love you with my soul. Thinking of what you have done for me brings tears to my eyes. Comedian Seyi Law’s Birthday Message To Comedian AY

In 2006, Seyi Law emerged the debut winner of AY Open Mic Talent Hunt Show, and from there, he rose to become of the top acts in the comedy industry.

Today, Tuesday, August 19, 2014, AY is a year older and one of his products, Seyi Law, has eulogised him, describing him as a man many would love to have as their father.

In his birthday message, Seyilaw said, “You just set out to do what you feel is right because you are still doing it. You searched for talents, nurtured them and gave them platforms to excel. I am one of those talents.

“You didn’t struggle with God from using you even though; you were still struggling to find your feet. Your hustle was for a standard. This standard I have tried to keep.
