Dayo Adeneye’s kidnapped father-in-law yet to be released after paying ransome

Caroline Adeneye, wife of showbiz man and hotelier, Dayo D1 Adeneye has confirmed the payment of the ransom for the release of her kidnapped dad, Sir Michael Negbenebor.

In a recent report, Caroline, who manages DC suites and bar alongside her hubby, confirmed her father’s abduction, last weekend in Benin, Edo State.


‘Its true he was kidnapped last week Sunday in Benin. The kidnappers asked for a ransom which we have paid on Tuesday, August, 26, 2014, and till now he has not been released,’ Caroline Adeneye confirmed.

It is being touted that the family paid a sum of N10m as the ransom but Caroline refused to give the exact amount paid to the kidnappers saying, ‘I cant disclose the amount we paid.’

Sir Michael Negbenebor is the Chairman Soccer group of companies, and Negbenebor International School.
