Jay Z sued for $18million over his perfume range...after sales drop by 75%
The rapper and business mogul has been sued by a company which collaborated with him on the release of his perfume range, Gold Jay Z. They claim Jay Z didn't keep his side of the deal.
Parlux Fragrances filed a lawsuit against Jay Z in the Manhattan Supreme Court, with the papers claiming the star failed to to promote his own signature fragrance. Reports claim the rapper was supposed to make six promotional appearances since the release of the fragrance in 2013, none of which he made.

Metuh denies tearing and attempting to swallow statement he made to EFCC
Embattled National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh, has denied reports that he tore his confessional papers and attempted to swallow them after interrogation by the EFCC on January 12th. Metuh denied the report when he was speaking with some PDP members who paid him a visit at Kuje prison over the weekend.
"They said I ate paper. I did not eat any paper. I don’t know where they got that from. As a matter of fact, the last contact I had with those people was the next day after I was arrested when I told them to charge me to court."he said

Has President Mugabe suffered a heart attack or it is the annual 'Mugabe rumour'?
President Robert Mugabe is reported to have collapsed after suffering a heart attack while on holiday and is in critical condition. He was said to be on holiday with family and friends when he was taken ill. The reports suggest "high-level" meetings are being held in case Mugabe does not recover. But the story is unverified and rumours are circulating on social media that it may be a hoax.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwean newspaper, The Herald said vice president Emmerson Mnangwagwa had been appointed acting president.

Missing Budget; an incredible and award winning April fool stunt- Dogara
Hours after the news broke yesterday that the hard and soft copy of the 2016 budget had gone missing in the National Assembly, the Speaker of the House of Reps Yakubu Dogara took to his twitter handle to describe the reports as an "Incredible and award winning April fool Stunt". Bayelsa election: We have a lot of reservations- APC National chair says
APC National Chairman John Odigie-Oyegun has expressed his reservations on the governorship election in Bayelsa state which was concluded on Saturday January 9th. Speaking after a meeting with President Buhari at the villa yesterday January 11th, Oyegun said the party was saddened at the level of bloodbath witnessed during the election.

Angela Merkel seeks tougher laws to deport convicted migrants after Cologne s3x attacks
Germany’s chancellor, Angela Merkel, has proposed tougher laws that would make it easier to deport migrants after a wave of s3x attacks in Cologne that were allegedly carried out by asylum seekers – an incident she is reported to have described as “a bombshell”.
Merkel is said to have made the remark while speaking to members of her Christian Democrat party (CDU) at its closed-door annual policy meeting in the western city of Mainz on Saturday, sources told Der Spiegel.

A couple in Girona, north-eastern Spain lived, ate and slept next to the rotting corpse of their seven-year-old son who suffered from asthma for two months because they refused to accept he was dead.
Bruce and Schrell Hopkins were arrested by the Catalan Mossos d’Esquadra after officers entered their rented home in Girona using a key given to them by the landlady.
